New Year's Party with Phil & Netty

NewYear's PARTY!

We watched the panto of “Cinderalla”. It was an amazing performance and we hissed and booed with the rest of the audience and we managed to get a few pictures with the cast too!

During our holiday we enjoyed fun activities such as friendly competitions of darts, air hockey and football table.

We got ready for our big night out and went out for pre dinner drinks before enjoying a wonderful New Year’s Eve meal with all the trimmings.
We then watched the performance from Scottish bag pipes. Amazing!!!

We watched the amazing Frankie Valley and The Four Seasons tribute act and then danced the night away with the resident band, all looking forward to seeing the New Year in style!

We awaited for the amazing firework display. The thrill of watching the fireworks light up the dark sky that reflected the colourful lights against the sea was mesmerising.

New Year's Party with Midi & Pat

New Year's Party!

Every evening we were treated with amazing shows from the fabulous entertainment team and of course we were the first on the dance floor to sing and dance!

The highlight was the pantomime, Cinderella. Everyone laughed and enjoyed being amused and impressed by the showman ship of the performers on stage. We even had an opportunity to take a picture with Cinderella and friends!

There were many activities to get involved with such as Reindeer racing, hand bell playing, bingo and curling.

Everyone changed into their glad rags and looked amazing!
We were certainly ready for our big evening!

In the dining room we found our table decorated with balloons and crackers. We were surprised and excited to hear the sound of a Scottish Piper bellowing in the background whilst we enjoyed our meal.

As midnight approached everyone was on the dance floor waving their Union Jack flags in the air.  We counted down the last seconds of 2017 with Big Ben on the big screen. 5,4,3,2,1….HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We had a fabulous Christmas dinner, pulled our crackers and shared our jokes and enjoyed everyone’s company. In the ballroom we watched the Queens Speech and relaxed watching a James Bond Film.

We visited the White Military and Heritage Museum which has a wide range of exhibits on display, including a 1940s street scene and a WW2 police car. There is a range of Centurion tanks, jeeps and a large number of weapons, uniforms and other military items on display.

We enjoyed a lovely walk along the coastal path and even had a short trip on a boat!

Fantastic bowling skills by the group, some even managing to get strikes. Well done!

We drove along the coastal route stopping at Godshill for lunch and at Freshwater Bay. We sat watching the surfers enjoying the big waves.

At the Ballroom we watched the brilliant pantomime, Cinderella whilst eating complimentary ice cream! We also had the chance to have our photos taken with the cast.

At the activity centre we enjoyed playing darts, table tennis, pool and snooker. Everyone showed great team spirit after some exciting, close games.
On New Year's eve we danced to the live band before enjoying the Scottish Piper playing his bagpipes and addressing the Haggis. Then the countdown began to the New Year and the party really got going with party poppers and balloons and us all waving our Union Jack flags!
