   Butlins, Fun & Dancing

We spent some fun time at the fair and especially loved the dodgems, train and carousel. We also had our pictures taken with all the Butlins memorabilia.

We went for a lovely walk along the seafront and had a look at Skegness pier. We stopped for photos and enjoyed a warm drink on the pier. We were all having a great time enjoying the view of sea.

Every Red Coat we came across was very happy to pose for a picture with us!
It made our day!

During the week we sang and danced to amazing music and shows! Our evenings were full of dancing and singing along to the music!

At Seal Sanctuary we looked around the park and admired the different animals. We fed the goats and the alpaca’s who seemed very hungry indeed! We saw the crocodiles and snakes, admired the penguins and were amazed by the variation of beautiful butterflies on show.

Unfortunately no holes in one at crazy golf but some impressive and adventurous shots. At the snooker room we played a few games of snooker. During the game, many great skills were shown and celebrations were had. Everyone was extremely proud of themselves with their performances.

Stadium Tours - Premiership Football Clubs with Midi & Led

⚽  Stadium Tours - Premiership Football Clubs  ⚽

Manchester United Tour! The stadium itself was huge! We were shown to the Museum first where we were amazed at the amount of memorabilia, trophies, football shirts and general information about the club. Some of the facts about the footballers were very interesting. We saw the enormous pitch, the stands for the VIPs, the dressing rooms and the area the TV crew stay. We sat in the players seats which gave us a great view of the pitch.

Our second tour was Liverpool Stadium. We started by visiting the museum which was stocked with memorabilia. It was amazing how many famous footballers played for Liverpool, like Kevin Keegan, Kenny Dalgleish, Barnes, Gerrard and many more. We had a fabulous tour where we also pretended to be interviewed by the press and had an incredible high view of the grounds which hold 50/60 thousand people.

The third of our stadium tours was Manchester City. It was very impressive as they have spent millions refurbishing the stadium. The actual stands held 55,000 fans but they will be extending the grounds soon to accommodate about 64,000.  Another great experience.

The farm on site was really interactive and we were amazed at the amount of animals we saw.  A few of our favourites were the pigs, pelicans and snakes.

A trip to the seaside wouldn't be the same without Fish and Chips along the sea front. We then made our way towards the famous Blackpool Tower where we stopped for pictures.

We visited the Madam Tussaud's Wax Museum where we saw some amazing wax work models of very famous people including Ant and Dec, The Two Ronnie's, The Royal Family, Tommy Cooper, The Beatles and many many more. We had a great time with our favourite celebrities.

At the famous Blackpool Tower Circus we had an amazing time and the acts were spectacular. The Endresz Family started the Circus over 27 years ago and they delivered daring stunts and mesmerising performances.  We saw so many tricks and acrobats and we all came away with huge smiles on our faces!

Spanish Coast & PortAventura with Darren, Isobel, Netty & Marguerite

  Spanish Coast & PortAventura

Bursting with excitement we made our way to PortAventura Theme Park! The park was decorated in a Halloween theme with lots of pumpkins and spiders.

We all had an amazing time and experienced some serious thrills! We got drenched on the Grand Canyon Rapids, Silver River Flume and Tutuki Splash. Some brave souls also went on the tallest roller coasterand the Terror Tower!

We visited the Ferrari Land. This amazing park was huge and offered so much in the way of rides with various themes. Our favourite ride was called “flying dreams”, a 5D experience which took you around the world of Ferrari. The car lovers amongst us loved this!

In Casilius port we boarded a Catamaran for our cruise around the beautiful waters surrounding Catalonia. In the beautiful sunshine we lounged on the day beds, relaxed and took in the breathtaking views. We all enjoyed a lovely barbecue on board for lunch and were given the chance to take a
dip before continuing our cruise back to shore.

We had the best entertainment every evenings during our stay, from live bands to Spanish dancing and much more. It was amazing! We also danced and sang the night away!
