*Bruges, Christmas Market*
We made our way along the narrow cobbled streets and went into some of
the chocolate shops to taste some samples and buy souvenirs. 
The main Christmas market was set in the square with many beautifully
decorated stalls selling all sorts of festive goods. We all had a great time
wandering around the stalls buying presents and then enjoyed some hot chocolate
with plenty of cream! 
We went down to the canal where we got on board a boat for an exciting commentated cruise along the canal ways that wind through the streets of Bruges. From the boat we got some of the best views of the beautiful ancient buildings. After that we climbed aboard two horse and carriages and had a really exciting time trotting through the narrow busy streets on the bumpy cobblestones, we all loved it!
In the evening we enjoyed having dinner in different brasserie of the old part of the city. It was always a lovely meal in festive surroundings. It was great to see the city at night all
lit up for Christmas.
