EuroDisney with Colin, Pat & Mel

Despite the weather forecast not looking good our ferry crossing over to France was actually quite pleasant. Once in France the sun came out as we drove to our hotel, perfectly situated just 10 minutes away from Disneyland Paris.

A continental breakfast got us going each morning, ready to explore the Disney parks. The Italian restaurant that we ate at the first night was so nice that we returned again on our last evening. The other night we ate at the Disney Village at ‘Planet Hollywood’.

We went to the Disneyland Park where we visited the various lands and went on many of the attractions. We all enjoyed ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, Pinocchio, Snow White, the Carousel, and of course ‘it’s a small world’ amongst many rides. We visited Mickey Mouse’s house, watched the 20th Anniversary Parade and searched out Disney characters to get their autographs.

We also went to the Walt Disney Studios Park where we met Goofy for our first autograph of the day and proceeded to watch the stunt show. During the day we went on several rides, watched the stars parade in their cars and finished off our shopping in the Disney Mega Store.
