Warners, Fun & Dancing (Sinah Warren)
The sun was shining and we couldn't think of a better way to start our holiday than by taking a stroll along the promenade taking in the beautiful sea views.
There were so many great activities for us to join in with and we certainly didn't waste any time showing off our competitive side. There were some great rallies on the ping pong table, impressive shots on the pool table and we scored highly on the shuffleboard mat.
The evening entertainment always got us up on the dance floor showing off our disco moves. The live shows were spectacular from musical medley's to hilarious comedy acts.
We picked our lucky bow and arrows and with a steady hand we were soon hitting the target board. We all agreed we would give Robin Hood a run for his money!
Hoy Bingo was always a favourite with our group. The idea is for a player to match all their cards on their sheet to the cards the dealer calls out to become a winner.

We
couldn't resist visiting the iconic Spinnaker
Tower—one of the UK’s most recognizable landmarks, standing an impressive 170
meters tall. Shaped like a sail to reflect Portsmouth's rich maritime heritage,
the tower offers breathtaking 360° panoramic views across the city, the Solent,
and even out to the Isle of Wight. Once at the top, we were treated to an unforgettable view—navy
ships of all sizes dotted the waters below. We spotted impressive vessels like
the Mary Rose and various support ships, all docked or navigating the naval
dockyard.
It was game on down at the bowling alley where there were some great shots and high scores. It was lovely to see everyone cheering each other on.
Before
heading home, we made one last stop for a final treat—a ride on the Hayling
Light Railway. This charming narrow-gauge steam railway runs along the coast of
Hayling Island, offering a perfect and peaceful way to end our trip. The
Islander engine chugged steadily along, taking us on a 30-minute return journey
with stunning seaside views. We smiled as we gazed out at colourful beach huts
and seagulls gliding above in search of scraps.
