Disneyland Paris with Leo, Isobel & Naomi

 Disneyland Paris

The snow began to fall and the magical scene that unfolded in front of us felt like a dream; the Main Street was transformed into a winter wonderland, with the towering Christmas tree gleaming in the snow, and festive carols playing in the background. We couldn’t help but smile as we walked down the street toward Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, twinkling away in the soft glow of Christmas lights.

It was straight off way to meet the legend himself, Mickey Mouse! He greeted us with big hugs and kisses. What a moment that we would always remember.

With rides to tick off our list we made our way to  Discoveryland for Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, where we joined Buzz on an intergalactic adventure to defeat the villain Zurg. Armed with infrared laser guns, we fired at targets while tracking our scores—everyone managed to rack up some impressive points!

One of our favourite rides was the Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin and we had some fun interactions with the green toy soldiers from Toy Story.

There were so many great shows for us to enjoy and we headed to the Mickey & The Magician show, which was nothing short of spectacular. With appearances from Genie, Cinderella, Belle, Lumière, and Rafiki, the show was filled with dazzling magic, vibrant colours, and unforgettable music.

With front row postions we stood in Main Street to catch the evening Christmas parade. Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade was a magical spectacle, with sparkling floats and characters dancing to festive tunes. Santa Claus himself waved to the crowd as he passed by, spreading Christmas cheer to all.

As evening fell, we were ready for the grand fireworks show. The castle was illuminated in a kaleidoscope of colours, and the sky erupted in a breathtaking display of fireworks, all set to our favourite Disney songs.

The iconic ride “It’s a Small World”, took us on a whimsical boat ride through miniature scenes from around the globe. From the snowy mountains of Austria to the pyramids of Ancient Egypt, it was a delightful journey of discovery.
