Butlins, Fun & Dancing (Minehead) with Netty & Leo

 Butlins, Fun & Dancing

We always have a fabulous time at Butlins with so many fun activities on offer. We especially love meeting the friendly Redcoats who are always happy to stop and chat to us.

A morning spent at the on-sight funfair is a must! Whizzing around on the Walzer, riding the elegant Carousel and flying high in the sky on the High Swing is always great fun!

At the arcades we tried our luck on the amusements and were thrilled when we won some great prizes!

A day of exploring the incredible views of Exmoor before taking a trip on the world-famous Cliff Railway, the best and most exciting way to travel between the two historic towns of Lynton and Lynmouth giving us the best views of the North Devon Coastline as we glided up and down the 862-foot length of track on water powered Victorian railway.

We finished our day at the pretty seaside town of Ilfracombe and much to our delight we found a delicious ice cream shop! We admired the bronze statue of a pregnant lady, Verity who stands overlooking the harbour. We learnt that she is meant to represent truth and justice.

The evening entertainment at Butlins never disappoints, especially when the Redcoats join us on the dance floor! The live shows always have us singing our hearts out and dancing the night away.

It was game on as we hit the bowling alley. Everyone showed great sportsman ship as we tried our hardest to get a strike!
