     Austria, Sound of Music Tour     

What a fabulous time we had during our  sound of music tour. It was amazing to visit the church where Maria & the Baron were married, the famous gazebo where Liesl sings "16 going on 17" and of course the enchanted gardens that lead us toward the impressive abbey.

We went swimming in a beautiful lake near the village where we were staying. It was so stunning to swim and relax amongst the vast mountain ranges that surrounded us!

We saw many stunning places whilst we were in Austria and particularly enjoyed this waterfall in Bad Gastein. So pretty and calm!

We went to Zell am See for a boat trip on the lake. It was quite refreshing cruising on the lake and the sights were beautiful.  

In Kaprun we visited a nice motor museum. We explored the museum which we all enjoyed.  









We headed for Krimmel to get up close to the incredible waterfall that is the fourth highest in Europe. It is an amazing sight and force. We all stood as close as we dared and had some wonderful photographs taken.

The weather was so pleasant throughout the week. Our evenings were spent in lovely typical restaurants where we ate tasty local cuisine. We also all enjoyed a bit of dancing and singing to finish our perfect days!
