Another whirl of a week on the Isle of Wight! Blessed with beautiful blue skies on most days, we took in the sites of the Needles, looking out across Allum Bay. We watched the glass blowing demonstrations and saw some wonderful vases being created right in front of our eyes! Everybody loved watching this creative process. We enjoyed the spectacle of Waltzing Waters, a fantastic light and water show. There were lots of "ooo's and ahhh's!"
Our trip to the Donkey Sanctuary was loved by everyone - we even got to stroke them. Some of them were very soft. We all loved the way their ears twitched! Barbara even got a kiss on the cheek from one of the Donkeys! Ten pin bowling spurred on some impressive scores, with the girls putting the boys to shame!
On one morning we took a trip into the delightful little town of Godshill and wandered around the Model Village which was loved by all. It was strange but fascinating to see everything scaled down to such a miniature size! We also visited the most heavenly little chocolate shop with some of us buying gifts to take home.
As with every Jolly Days Holiday, after our delicious dinners, we headed for the entertainment hall where we were the last to leave the dance floor most nights, loving the dancing and singing. The shows as always were excellent and the entertainment team were very friendly and always loved dancing with our group.
There are more than 50 on board activities daily and in some ships many more so no matter how much (or how Little) you want to pack into your vacation we've got just what you're after!
