We dodged the odd shower and the occasional heavy downfall to have a fun packed time. Our accommodation was its usual high standard and we enjoyed some down time resting in comfort when required.
From our bungalows we could see and feed the animals that consisted of ducks, squirrels, rabbits and deer!!
Our first evening we celebrated Nazim’s birthday, dining at Cafe Rouge, where she opened presents and had “happy birthday” sung by the whole of the restaurant!
Days started with a wakeup call with a nice cuppa, followed with a hearty breakfast. This set us up for a day full of activities. These included swimming, badminton, table tennis, ten-pin bowling, pool, tennis, bicycle riding, short green bowls, crazy golf and taking a pedalo on the lake.
We had our meals in three different restaurants within Center Parcs and once we went for a very nice fish & chip meal in Brandon. Wendy cooked a great homemade lasagne with garlic bread one evening and Derek cooked on the BBQ when the opportunity arose!
Every night we found ourselves in the club where we danced in the disco, went ten-pin bowling, played in the arcade and played more pool.
