London theatre trip Nov 10

A fun packed three days in London started with a wander through the streets of the City.

We took in all of the sights along the way, including The Royal Exchange, The Bank of England, Cheapside shops, St. Pauls Cathedral, Covent Garden and more.....

An open top bus ride is a must!! It was brilliant because we saw so much of London from both sides of the river.

It was time for the main event......the Dominion Theatre where we saw "We Will Rock You".... Wow, what a great show that was!! It was both funny and musical. We danced in the isles and swayed with our arms high to the music.

On our last day, we headed off to the river and took a boat ride along the Thames from Tower pier to Westminster and back. Everything looks so different from the water. It was great.

Post show dinner at a very nice Korean restaurant

As we had plenty of time until the show, we went to "Hamleys, the biggest toy store in the world". It is great because you can touch and play with many of the toys.

Horse Guards Parade, where we had our pictures taken with the guards and their beautiful horses.

Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guards. That was really splendid!

A walk through St. Jame's Park

Soon it was time to head off home. A late lunch was taken in a nice country pub on our journey home.

What a busy time we had. London is such a marvellous place for a visit and all said that they would love to come again next year to experience more of the City.
