Exmoor Activity Centre

We had a fantastic experience stacking crates as high as possible whilst standing on top and trying not to fall off. Naturally we were harnessed so that when we fell off the stack we were left suspended in the air. It was great fun! 

 

After getting our wet gear on we were off to the reservoir to canoe. Our canoes were stabilised so there was no chance of tipping over and we soon got the hang of paddling. We played a game of points of the compass to test our skills of manoeuvrability and off we went!

At the stable yard we firstly  had a grooming experience before climbing on board the horse drawn carriage and were whizzed around the menage. We rode horses in the indoor menage and enjoyed the fun of the gymkhana. It was brilliant and all had a fabulous time! 


We did indoor and outdoor rope activities which involved zip wire and abseiling. We also tested our skills on the outdoor wall climbing.

We walked down to the reservoir to board our two-man dinghies. The sails were set and off we went trying our best to make it to a buoy in the distance.  

We chose the most suitable cycles for each individual and cycle around the lake. 

The indoor swimming pool proved a winner with everyone having fun and games.   

Disco nights were fun and also we were entertained with quizzes and played pool and table football.
