Disneyland Paris with Matt & Isobel

 Disneyland Paris

The magic of Disney does exist and we had the biggest smile on our faces as we spotted the princess castle in the distance.

It was the moment we had all been waiting for meeting a real life Disney Princess and to our utter delight we got to say hello  the beautiful Belle. She looked stunning in her infamous yellow dress. There were photos and cuddles galore.

As if our day couldn't get any better, we got to meet the cheeky mouse himself, Mickey! He was so friendly, a moment we will never forget.

We took our front row positions for the Disney parade where we watched our favourite characters pass us by on brightly coloured floats with music blasting out. It was a real party atmosphere.

There were so many great rides for us to take on including the Buzz Light Year Laser Blast where we all did our best to aim at the targets. The brave amongst us took on the Hypespace Mountain where we blasted off to do battle with the evil empire.

Its a Small World was a huge hit with our group as we were taken on a delightful musical boat tour passing by dolls dressed in a stunning setting all with their national costumes from all four corners of the globe.

We flew high in the sky on the Dumbo ride which was so much fun as we were able to control the elephants ourselves. It gave us great views over the park.

To our delight we got to watch another parade and with smiles on our faces we waved and cheered as they passed us by.

As we walked around the park we managed to spot so many different characters and had our photo taken with them.

We took our seats in the theatre for Mickey and the Magician show where we followed Mickey as he is given the task of cleaning up before sunrise, but the young apprentice gets distracted. Mickey finds himself accidently transported to the most magical worlds featuring the Genie, Lumiere and Rafiki. We all clapped and cheered as Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast appeared on the stage.

We couldn't resist a Mickey Mouse shaped treat! We were on holiday after all!

To end our time at Disneyland Paris we watched the Disney Dreams Nightime Extravaganza as Peter Pan’s shadow leads you through beloved Disney stories spectacularly brought to life with jaw-dropping fireworks, fountains and magical effects on the castle.
