Turkey & Tinsel with Jackie, Marguerite & Rachel

 Turkey & Tinsel

We had arrived at the fabulous Warners and we couldn't wait for our holiday to start. There were so many amazing festive displays and decorations. As we tucked into our delicious feast and yummy desserts we had a surprise visit from Santa, Rudolph and some friends from the North Pole. There were lots of cuddles and we loved telling him all about what we had been up to.

Festive Hand Bell ringing was on the agenda. We had to ring different sounding bells to play well-known Christmas songs. With a bit of practise, we soon had this perfected and were proud of our musical efforts. Next we joined in with Festive Piano feet where once again we had to play a well known carol on the keyboard mat following the music card. It was easier said than done but we did have a good old giggle.

We eagerly made our way to watch the afternoon performance of Cinderella. This traditional pantomime had us laughing out loud as Buttons caused chaos along with the Panto Dame. There was booing and hissing at the baddie and plenty of “he’s behind you”. It was marvellous!

There was some time to relax in the leisure facilities and it didn't take us long to make a splash in the water or enjoy the warm bubbles of the jacuzzi and destress in the sauna.

Every evening we were treated some incredible performance. One of our favourites was Musicals Now, a showstopping tribute to some of our most loved West End shows such as Oliver, Joseph, Mary Poppins and Les Misérables. The party always then continued late into the night, and we danced our socks off.

As it was our New Year’s Eve, we joined in the celebrations dancing along to the Hokey Cokey! As the clock struck midnight, we joined hands and sang Auld Lang Syne as the balloons and sparkles fell from the ceiling. It was a real celebration and such a magical way to end our memorable holiday.
