Christmas Pantomime with Midi & Netty

 Christmas Pantomime

It was the moment we had all been waiting for, our pantomime performance of Mother Goose. Laughter echoed through the venue as we joined in the fun, immersing ourselves in the theatrical production. From the moment the curtain rose, Mother Goose whisked us away on a journey of hilarity. The traditional pantomime elements were there – the witty banter, the over-the-top characters, and the delightful audience interaction that added an extra layer of fun.

Getting in the Christmas spirit we then drove to Wimpole Hall to witness the magic of their festive lights. And oh, what a spectacle it was! The lights danced like a kaleidoscope of colour, creating an enchanting ambiance that left us in awe.

To our delight we got to meet the main man himself! He was so jolly and asked us lots of questions about our holiday. But, what we all wanted to know was were we on the naughty or nice list?!?

The historic charm of King's College welcomed us before taking a stroll into St Mary's Church where we were serenaded from the majestic organ being played. What a treat! The Christmas spirit enveloped as we meandered through the festive market, exploring stalls adorned with holiday delights.

A new experience for all was a trip up the river Cam on a punt
, a flat-bottomed boat that gently glided through the water, surrounded by the beauty of Cambridge's historic landscape guided by the knowledgeable Gabriel. His tales wove a tapestry of history and intriguing facts, making the river journey an educational delight.

We entered the captivating world of zoology at the Museum of Zoology in Cambridge. The exhibitions were nothing short of fascinating, offering a deep dive into the wonders of the animal kingdom.

Competitive spirits soared down at the bowling alley as strikes and spares filled the air. Jamie scored the first impressive strike. The alley echoed with cheers and laughter, making it an experience to remember.

A celebratory evening was full of festive cheer. Complete with party hats and Christmas crackers we enjoyed a memorable evening with our new friends.
