Disneyland Paris with Dan, Darren & Isobel

Disneyland Paris
As we excitedly entered the park we walked up Main Street and caught site of the mesmerising Disney Castle, right in-front of us. It looked just how we had imagined it.

We couldn’t wait to meet the cheeky Mickey Mouse. He was in a playful mood and he greeted us with a huge hug! After a photo shoot and more hugs we left with huge smiles on our faces. We felt so lucky!

We got our front row position to watch the highly awaited Disney Parade. There was a real buzz amongst the crowd as all the characters and the brightly decorated floats made their way past us. Kizzy was so delighted when her favourite princess Belle, from Beauty and the Beast blew her a kiss and gave her a wave. It was a moment that Kizzy would remember forever. The floats kept on coming with Peter Pan, Tigger, Frozen, Snow White and Toy Story, to name a few. We waved and cheered as they danced on by.

The journey through ‘It’s A Small World’, took us through countries of the world with wonderful displays of all the national costumes. It was definitely a huge favourite of ours.

We soared through the air on the flying Dumbo ride, spun round and round on the Tea Cups & Saucers and whizzed along the rickety old track on the Runaway Train.

As the sun set and the night sky darkened, we moved to get a great view of the Castle in time for the illumination extravaganza. A truly magical display, lighting up the castle with clips from some of the Disney movies and songs playing in the background. The special effects were phenomenal and we all stood ‘ohhhing’ and ‘ahhhing’, enraptured in this special moment.

Everywhere we went we ended up bumping into famous characters. The chipmunks we ever so lovable and Maleficent wasn't as scary as we thought!

We boarded the old paddle steamer boat for a cruise around the lake. This beautiful trip allowed us to see different views of the park and some of the wildlife that resides here.

Everyone was delighted to meet the Sleeping Beauty in the Princess Pavilion. She was ever so glamorous!
