We were so excited to start our holiday at Butlins!

We strolled around the Butlins resort taking in all the different facilities and of course photo’s along the way. We then made our way to the beach, where we treated ourselves to an ice cream whilst taking in the fresh sea air. 

We were looking forward to visiting the funfair. We all had a go on the dodgems, train and carousel.

At the bowling alley we played a friendly competition. During the game, many strikes and celebrations were had. Everyone was extremely proud of themselves with their performances. 

This morning we set off for Skegness town centre where we stopped at the Seal Sanctuary. We looked around the park and admired the different animals. We fed the goats and the alpaca who seemed very hungry indeed! We saw the crocodiles and snakes, admired the penguins and were amazed by the variation of beautiful butterflies on show. But most of all, the stars of the show, the seals where we were lucky enough to watch them being fed.

We had a jam-packed week full of live shows including Jersey Quartet, J. Nolan, Viva Spice and of course the amazing Beatles tribute. We were up on the dance floor dancing and singing along with the entertainment.

 At the amusements we had fun spending a few pennies in the 2p machines. 

We headed towards the Cloud Bar in Anderby Creek, where we had a lovely stroll down the long stretch of golden beach. We came up to a viewpoint that we all climbed up and admired the unspoilt views.
