Disneyland Paris
On arrival at the park we stood in Main Street and watched a spectacular parade of all the
characters from the Disney films. This was a great start to our day in Disney!
We went to frontier land where we boarded a spectacular paddle steamer
“The Molly Brown”, which took us on a tour of the huge lake and showed us the
amazing attractions of Thunder Mountain and Pocahontas village. We then strolled to Adventure Island and to the Indiana Jones ride which everyone agreed was a thrilling experience!
One evening we watched the Disney Illuminations extravaganza with the most spectacular fireworks display, incredible light projections and stunning special effects. The images projected onto the castle walls were some of our favourites characters like the Beauty
and Beast, Mickey Mouse and The Lion King.
We took a tram tour which took us behind the scenes of the film making and
how the special effects are created. During the tour we experienced an earthquake and explosions which rocked the tram from
side to side. It was really exciting.
We enjoyed all the rides in the park but our favourite was the flying carpet ride and the the Armageddon experience where we were in a space ship which was being
attacked by aliens. It was scary but exciting!
We all loved meeting our favourite characters. We had our book signed and photos taken!
