Farm Experience & Zoo
We had a fantastic time at Colchester Zoo. We walked around looking at many different types
of animals including elephants, giraffes and pigs. The penguins were a big
favourite - waddling around making everyone laugh and then diving into the
water. We also watched a great sea lion show which was amazing! After lunch
with the ducks it was time to see the lion's den and the cheeky monkeys. 
On our trip to the farm everyone was very excited to see the animals. We
saw some baby chicks and got the chance to hold them. The lambs were very noisy as
they needed bottle feeding so we each took a turn to feed them, and even had a
cuddle with one that was only a week old. We fed the mummy goat and then moved
on to see the pigs, chickens, sheep and alpacas. We also fed the cows and then
had the chance to milk one called Ginger. 
We went to the pretty seaside town of Leigh -
On- Sea and walked along the sea front. We then went to Southend and got the
train to the end of the pier; where we had a coffee and took in the beautiful
views. We browsed the life-boat shop and bought a few gifts and souvenirs to
take back home with us. After catching the train back, we enjoyed a lovely fish
‘n chip meal for lunch.
