Farm Experience & Zoo
At the Farm we had a fab day learning all about the animals. We all had a go at hand milking the cow. She was such a gentle lady. We then fed the lama and bottle fed the lambs. So cute and cuddly!
We had a cracking day at Colchester Zoo and we were all so excited to see the animals. We saw lots of different species like monkeys, giraffes, penguins, kangaroo's and marine species. We went on the train for a ride around the zoo and the guide took us to see the lemur enclosure where we could get right up close to them.
We took
a trip to Mersea Island and had a paddle in the sea. We bought some gifts on the sea front. We also went ten pin bowling
which was great fun seeing who the winner was going to be. Back at the lodge Steve cooked a BBQ as the weather had been good to us all day.
We visited the tropical park where there were so many different species of birds and butterflies. We watched the playful Meerkats interacting with each others and finally had a walk among
the friendly goats.
It was the perfect way to end our holiday!!!
