The Royal Norfolk County Show with Jim, Steve & Micheala

I don't think we could have had any more fun on holiday even if we tried!  What a fantastic, action packed holiday we had in beautiful Norfolk.  Our modern, spacious apartments amazed us and we felt completely at home!

We couldn't wait to see the delights awaiting us at the show!  It was packed full of wonderful things, such as woodland crafts, agriculture, livestock and lots of arts and crafts stalls.  The show rings were fabulous and we watched the magnificent show jumping and pig racing!

Our senses were bought to life as we wandered into promising food tents, full of fresh local produce that we could sample. they had mountains of olives, cheeses, wines, fresh meat and divine chocolates and sweet treats!  We could hardly resist as we ambled around!

We watched a superb heavy horse show and it was incredible to see the beautiful horses pulling the weight of the stunning characters.  We cheered with gusto at the tractor tug of war contest and admired the lithe greyhounds!  They had steam trains on display and cider making demonstrations.  There was live entertainment going on around the show and we danced and sang as we went!

On another day we got on the Poppy Line Steam Railway and it was like taking a journey back in time.  The views were stunning and it was great to see the old train working.

We visited the lovely Wroxham Barns, where everyone was able to feed the delightful baby lambs, make friends with the friendly pigs, donkeys and goats. We went to Horning, a picturesque broad land village lining the banks of the River Bure.

We all loved being in each others company and had such an excellent and enjoyable holiday!
