Butlins,Fun & Dancing
It was a big thumbs up as we arrived at Butlins, looking forward to an action packed week.
The evening entertainment was something we always looked forward to after a great day out. We loved meeting the friendly Red Coats who were always happy to dance the night away with us.

All the fun of the fair was to be had as we whizzed around on the High Chairs and bumped and crashed into each other on the Dodgems. We all tried our luck on the Hook a Duck stall and we were all lucky winners.
An interesting morning was spent at The Reptile Centre where we were able to meet all kinds of exotic animals including snakes, spiders and a giant millipede. Everyone had lots of questions to ask about the snakes with some of the guys being brave enough to ask to hold it.
Oh we do love to besides the seaside, especially when ice cream is involved!

One afternoon was spent at The National Nature Reserve where we visited the 160-year-old coastguard station. The nature reserve itself offers refuge to hundreds of different species of birds and animals and as we walked around we had our best go at spotting them. It was lovely to just take our time wandering along the river admiring all the boats.
After a walk along the seafront in the glorious sunshine, we couldn't resist a little paddle in the sea.... even if it was a little cold!
