Alton Towers Theme Park
In Alton Towers we experience the thrill of the rides. After entering the park it was onto The Smiler which is the world’s first 14 loop rollercoaster, this was a great warm up for the next awesome ride which was Oblivion, Nemesis, Hex, the Runaway Mine Train, the Congo River Rapids and the Haunted Hollow. The spooky walk at the Haunted Hollow was full of frights and surprises!

We visited The Heights of Abraham. We took a cable car ride to the top of the
very high hillside - everyone enjoyed the thrilling ride. At the top we all went
in The Great Masson Cavern which is an underground cave! While a little cold
down there, it was beautiful and very exciting.
Another day, we went on the Peak Rail steam train ride from Matlock to Rowsley
South. It was a beautiful ride through the Derbyshire countryside. The group
really enjoyed the experience of the steam train!
On our last day, we went to visit a working farm to meet and interact with all of the animals which included horses,
pigs, sheep, lamas and many more. We even had the opportunity to ride the lovely
horses around the paddock. This was a fantastic experience for all!
