As we arrived in this absolutely beautiful city, we couldn't wait to set out to explore! The streets were alive with the joy of the festivities and we loved being a part of it.
We found a vibrant Christmas market, buzzing with Christmas activity. We ambled leisurely around looking at the tempting good on offer!
We watched Aladdin the Pantomime which everybody LOVED! We all booed and hissed and cheered at the characters and were very impressed by the special effects and lighting. What a show it was! We sang and danced the songs that we knew. It was extremely funny and we laughed out loud the whole way through!
We went punting on the delightful river Cam and they gave us hot water bottles and blankets to keep ourselves warm as we glided down the river.
We took in the sights and sounds all around us and passed the amazing Cambridge university buildings.
By popular demand, we watched Paddington at the cinema which everybody adored. What a great film it was. We also had a game of ten pin bowling where our competitive spirits came to the fore - well done to all for some excellent scores!
Our holiday was bursting with feel good, festive fun. Thank you to everyone who made it so fantastic!
