 Potters Leisure Resort 

 Excitement built during the short journey to the resort, and upon arrival guests settled into their spacious rooms before gathering for their first dinner together. The evening continued with entertainment in the theatre, beginning with a lively performance from Rachel and James followed by the energetic “Totally 80s” show, featuring music from artists such as Michael Jackson and David Bowie. Singing, dancing and plenty of laughter made for a fantastic first evening.

After breakfast on Tuesday, the group jumped straight into the activities with the fun quiz game “Who Wants to Be a Potter Trillionaire?” competing in teams led by Oli and Ayshea. Later, the team “The Jollys” took part in an 80s quiz, finishing an impressive second place, with John answering many of the questions. The day also included a relaxing treat for the ladies at the Aphrodite Beauty Studio, where manicures were enjoyed, followed by a creative craft session decorating tote bags to take home as souvenirs. That evening everyone gathered at the Atlas Theatre for the show “Cabaret Club,” a vibrant performance celebrating jazz music with dazzling costumes, singing and dancing

On Wednesday, the day began with rifle shooting, where both Johns and Louise took part under the guidance of instructor Katie. John F impressed everyone by hitting the bullseye in the first round, and all participants were awarded Potters’ famous gold medals. Later the group relaxed in the swimming pool before enjoying lunch and another craft activity, making colourful pipe-cleaner flowers. The afternoon brought more fun in the Garden Bar, where the team took part in a quiz and proudly won first place with an impressive score of 151, with John nominated as team captain. The celebrations continued with a lively game betting on racing dogs and an evening exploring the arcade, where games, prize tickets and friendly competition kept everyone entertained.

On Thursday, the final full day began with an archery session led by instructor Ashley. Louise scored an impressive 120 points, while both Johns achieved 130 points each, earning yet more Potters medals. The group also took part in a music quiz, finishing second place once again, before joining the fun interactive game “Potterators vs Guests.” Oli bravely volunteered for one of the challenges, earning plenty of laughter and cheers from the audience. Later that afternoon the group took a trip to the charming seaside town of Southwold, enjoying the sunshine while exploring the famous pier, browsing the shops and strolling along the beach

.

The final evening included a special farewell dinner together before heading to the Atlas Theatre for the show “Simply the Best.” The performance celebrated the history of Potters through music from the 1960s to the present day, with many guests dancing and singing along. The evening ended with a standing ovation for the performers, bringing a wonderful week to a close.
