The Wonders of The Isle of Wight with Rachel & Oli

The Wonders of The Isle of Wight

We couldn't wait to explore the wonders that the island has to offer. The Model Village at Godshill was our first stop and it was amazing to look at the tiny replica village scenes.

There were so many brilliant facilities  for us to use and we loved a friendly game of pool and darts. We even got to play a new game of shuffleboard.

Our creative side came out as we visited the sand shop where we were able to choose a glass ornament to fill with the different coloured sand that you can only find on the island. We were pretty proud of our creations.

We watched the incredibly skilled craftsmen demonstrate how they make their handmade glass products. It was fascinating to see.

The evening entertainment never disappoints! You would always find us on the dance floor showing off our groovy moves to the fabulous shows and tribute acts.

A brilliant day was had exploring Monkey Haven who rescue primates. They have over 19 species including Siamangs and Mueller's Gibbons. They were a noisy bunch!

It was down to the pool to make a splash! We practised our swimming and relaxed in the warm, bubbling jacuzzi.

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside! The views across the Solent were super.
