Winter Sun in the Canaries
The sun was shinning and we couldn't wait to make a splash in the hotel pool!The water was so nice and refreshing! We also loved relaxing on the sun loungers, topping up our tan!
We spent the day on the beach in the blissful sunshine. We hired pedalo boats and had great fun trying to race each other. A few of us may have had a splashing competition too!
Our mission was to make our way up Mount Teide, an active Volcano on the island! We enjoyed the walk along the paths and the beautiful landscape that surrounded us.
A fun packed day was spent at Aqualand Water Park. We watched a wonderful Dolphin display; it was fantastic to see the Dolphins in action right before us! The dare devils amongst us braved the huge water slides and cheered with delight as they conquered them. The river rapids was also great fun!
We excitedly boarded the ship ready for our day at sea. We were hoping to spot some Dolphins and Whales on our journey. We waited patiently and before our very eyes we had some cheeky and playful dolphins swimming right beside our boat. Such and incredible sight.
The evening entertainment always had us up on our feet, dancing the night away. One of our favourite nights was at the karaoke bar where they had an Elvis tribute act. Kevin soon took hold of the microphone and did a fabulous rendition of an Elvis classic. A huge round of applause was given by all the other holiday makers.
