The Magic Of Majorca with Derek, Dan, Wendy & Ase

The Magic Of Majorca

What an amazing time we had in Majorca, we visited so many beautiful places.

At our hotel swimming pool we spent so much time having fun in the water and relaxing on sunbeds.

We took a boat trip to see some of the beautiful coastline in the surrounding area. We got aboard a large catamaran and had great views of the resort of Peguera as we set off. We sailed towards Santa Ponsa passing by the resorts of Camp de Mar and Cala Fornells where the boat set down anchor for a swim in the clear water.

We drove through beautiful villages and arrived at a traditional town in a lush valley with an unspoilt coastline. We strolled along the waterfront promenade with it’s many shops and cafes. The harbour was full of many types of boats and a small wooden train runs from the harbour up to the main town. We strolled by the harbour and then did some shopping for souvenirs.

In Palma we strolled towards the Santa Maria Cathedral and went inside the imposing cathedral building. It is a truly magnificent structure, the tallest Gothic style cathedral in the world, which is filled with fantastic multicoloured light that filters through it’s famous windows. We also walked down many of the medieval streets lined with aristocratic townhouses with their beautiful balconies.

We had fantastic entertainment throughout our holiday. We sat back enjoyed watching some beautiful dancers perform many styles of dance, including some traditional Spanish Flamenco.
