Yorkshire Dales, TV Soaps Country with Wendy & Mags

The Breath-taking Yorkshire Dales!

We had an amazing holiday with such fantastic views of the  Dales from our cottage.
Our alarm each morning was the sound of the lovely lambs - who knew they could be so noisy!?

Throughout our wonderful stay in Yorkshire we visited some truly memorable places such as the Cheese factory!
Who knew there is so many types of cheese!
It was fascinating to see the whole process happening right in front of us!

Another memorable place that we visited was the Woolpack (where of course Emmerdale is Filmed!) We had a delicious lunch there! We got rather excited as we got to see all the pictures of  the famous cast, past and present. It was a lot of fun to see where it is all filmed!

We headed to Holmfirth where Last of the Summer Wine was filmed which was extremely exciting! We had a delightful lunch at Sid's Café,  as it is where Norah Batty was often seen. The next stop on our amazing tour was Norah Battys house which is now a museum.

On our last full day we headed to Thornton Hall Farm where the staff were extremely friendly.

There was an opportunity for us to feed the lambs and calves.

We petted such a variety of animals, from fluffy rabbits and chicks, to cheeky alpacas and llamas!
