Out & About on the Isle of Wight with Steve & Michaela

The magic of the Isle of Wight enchanted us yet again on our fantastic holiday!  We settled into our luxury chalets and made ourselves at home right away.

We visited the Needles at Allum Bay and had a stunningly scenic drive around some of the surrounding villages and seaside resorts.

We sang our hearts out in a singing workshop and took part in a line dancing workshop with Emily, the resident dancer.  This worked up our appetites for a scrumptious cream tea at Chessell Pottery Barns.  Delightful!

On one beautiful morning, we set out along the coastal route to Cowes, where we ambled leisurely around some charming little shops and the picturesque quayside.  We went and visited our fluffy friends at the Donkey Sanctuary, where we stroked and chatted to them.  As always, it was wonderful to see them being so well looked after.

Our evenings were spent in the Mariners Bar, the entertainment hall where we saw some absolutely amazing shows!  We danced til our socks flew off and impressed everyone with
our moves!  Brian even got involved in a show and sang on the stage - truly wonderful!

We played our hands at bingo, took part in quizzes and cheered as we watched the Dicey horse racing game!

What a hugely fun holiday it had been and we can't wait to come back!
