   Farm Experience & Zoo    In the beautiful sunshine we visited Colchester Zoo and had the amazing opportunities to feed the giraffes and elephants. We also took a train ride through the zoo and stopped at the lemur enclosure to watch them basking in the sunshine.  At the farm we were introduced to the new born goats and lambs which we had the chance to bottle feed, this was a lovely treat! We then took it in turns to milk the cow and to hold the fluffy, yellow chicks - which were only a week old. We got to meet the Shetland ponies and alpacas, one of which was proudly showing off her new little baby.   In Southend-on-Sea we took a stroll along the sunny seafront, stopping along the way to sit in the glorious sunshine and enjoy a hot drink and some donuts. In the arcade, we spent some time playing the 2p coin machines before walking back along the seafront towards the town centre for some lovely ice cream...

    Attractions of Blackpool       In the b ea ut iful sunshine we were eager to explore Blackpool! We visited the Blackpool tower and had a wonderful time in the ballroom watching all of the professional dancers. We felt like we were in an episode of Strictly Come Dancing!  The Wurlitzer organ was magnificent to see and hear. Another day w e visited the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum where we mingling with the rich and famous. We had  photographs taken with our favourite celebrities including Keith Lemon, Jeremy kyle, Ken Dodd, Benny Hill and the Queen. We also had a drink in The Rovers Return with the likes of Deirdre Barlow, Bet Lynch and Jack and Vera Duckworth.   In St Anne’s we enjoyed a leisurely walk along the promenade and had a lovely lunch in the beautiful sunshine at the famous Seafarers restaurant.   Center Parcs Leisure Resort    At the sports hall  we enjoyed friendly tournaments of ten pin bowling and pool.  Everyone was very fair in their play and all had great fun! We enjoyed some fun time playing on the amusements. We headed to the cycle store, were given our bicycles and then spent the day exploring the forest trails. We were all very happy to be gliding along in the sunshine taking in all the sights.   The sun was shining again and we were heading off to play some crazy golf. It was tremendous fun attempting all of the holes on the Sherwood Forest course. We had great leisurely walks through the forest and all loved spotting  all the woodland creatures. We also went to see the wonderful birds of prey show. We truly had an amazing holiday full of fun and laugher!
