Thorpe Park & Chessington with Midi & Netty
Thorpe Park & Chessington
Three thrill seeking days were enjoyed and our group of dare devils were looking forward to ticking off all the big rides off their list! As
we approached, excitement hit its peak — the sight of the enormous rides
towering into the sky had everyone elated! With our fast-track passes ready, we
wasted no time and made our way to our first ride of the day — The Swarm. This
is a thrilling wing coaster that plunges and twists around wreckage-themed
scenery.
The
afternoon was full of fun: we spun and bounced on Monkey’s Banana Ride, bumped
our way around the Dodgems, and had a good giggle on the classic Teacups

But it wasn't long before we cranked things up again on the Seastorm- a wild and windy spinning ride that had us holding on tight as we zoomed in circles! From there, we headed out to sea again on Trawler Trouble- a bouncy, wave jumping ride that made us all yell out 'Wohhheeyyy! We kept the thrills going with a classic: The Vampire Ride. The screams were non stop! We took a break on the Gruffalo River Ride Adventure and tried our best not to get soaked by the sneaky water fountains! As we were so close by, we couldn't resist a walk along the canal admiring the charming narrowboats and stylish
canal-side homes, soaking in the calm waterside atmosphere.

It was back to
Chessington World of Adventures feeling excited and ready for action. We headed straight for our first ride of the day: Dragon’s Fury! This spinning roller
coaster had us twisting and turning in all directions, laughing and squealing
as we flew around the track. We kept the thrills going with
a classic: The Vampire Ride. This suspended roller coaster had our legs
dangling as we soared through the air, twisting through the treetops and around
the thrilling course. The screams and laughter were nonstop – an absolute
adrenaline rush!

Our last day was spent visiting Lee Valley White Water Centre – a thrilling spot known for its
Olympic-standard rapids, where adventurous souls tackle white water rafting,
canoeing, and kayaking. As we walked around the centre, we enjoyed watching
groups riding the waves on their rafts, laughing, splashing, and holding on
tight!
