   Winter Sun in the Canaries    We enjoyed strolling down the sea front with picturesque views of the island.  Along the way we enjoyed stopping for refreshing drinks on terraces. We enjoyed spending time lazing on the sunbed and in the swimming pool! Each evening we ate some glorious fresh food and danced the nights away in some brilliant bars with live music and karaoke! We took a scenic route up the mountains to see Teide, the islands famous volcano. The views were so clear that on our journey we were able to see the neighbouring islands of El Hierro, La Gomera and Las Palma way off in the distance. On a beautiful day, we visited the Monkey Park just outside Los Cristianos. Everyone enjoyed seeing all the different monkeys, tropical birds, Iguanas and other animals on view at the park.  We had a cracker of a day at Aqualand.   Potters Leisure Resort     Our week was jam-packed with fun! We had a cracking game   of crazy golf in the warm sunshine,  an archery competition which won us a gold medal and of course lots of laughter at Ten Pin Bowling.  At the rifle range everyone was very entertaining and another gold medal was won!   We took a painting and pottery class - a lovely time was had by all and there were some beautiful masterpieces created. Our evenings were spent  dancing our socks off in the Theatre! We saw many incredible shows during our week, including a 60's Show, and The Pride of Britain show. We boogied the nights away, impressing everyone with our moves!

   Blackpool    On a beautifully sunny day we went up the famous tower and the skies  were so clear that we could see the Isle of Man! We had a fantastic time at the Blackpool tower ballroom, we all loved watching the beautiful dancing couples.   We visited the famous Blackpool Zoo where we spent the whole day wandering around the park and met all the different animals.    We drove into Preston where we visited the ten pin bowling alley. Wow! What a great group of bowlers we had with us! At the Sea-life Centre we walked beneath the sharks in the glass tunnels and played with the shrimps in the rock pools.  We also visited Madame Tussauds waxworks museum. We really enjoyed being photographed with our favourite celebrities!
