Best of Benidorm

We were back in one of our favourite sunny holiday spots, Benidorm. With
the sun shining down and spirits high, we were more than ready to explore the
vibrant heart of this iconic Spanish city. we
wandered uphill to the castle itself, rewarded with truly breathtaking views
over the city and beyond.

Everyone was keen to
soak up as much sun and pool time as possible. We found a spot under the palm
trees in the hotel’s lush garden – the sound of music in the background, drinks
in hand, and the sun shining down created the perfect holiday vibe. We all agreed we could certainly get used to this!
We
set off for Mundomar – Benidorm’s very own marine animal park and a must-visit
spot.
We learned that sea lions are clever, playful marine mammals, closely related to seals, but with visible ear flaps and the ability to "walk" on land using their large flippers. Their energy was infectious, and we couldn’t get enough of their spectacular jumps, clever tricks, and how they followed the cues of their trainers with such precision and personality. We clapped and cheered as they splashed and showed off – a definite highlight! Next up were the dolphins – always a crowd favourite. We viewed them from across the tanks, enchanted by their grace and speed.
The party never stops! From the incredible entertainment in the hotel to the live music in some of our favourite bars along the strip. You would always find on the dance floor showing everyone how JollyDays really party!

Excitement was high as we made our way to the port for our much-anticipated boat trip. We hopped aboard and set sail to the beautiful city of Calp. Located along Spain’s
Costa Blanca, Calp is known for its dramatic coastal views, clear waters, and
the iconic Peñón de Ifach—a towering limestone rock that juts out from the sea
and dominates the skyline.

The evening entertainment at our hotel was fabulous. It had something for everyone. We certainly couldn't resit taking to the microphone and belting our some of our most loved songs.
