 Warners, Fun & Dancing We were greeted with brought glorious sunshine and a relaxed start, followed by a visit to a charming craft market filled with handmade goods.  A highlight of the afternoon was visiting Ferne Animal Sanctuary , meeting a variety of animals in a calm, natural setting.  The group enjoyed a leisurely morning before trying archery, which quickly turned competitive.  The afternoon focused on relaxation, including swimming, sauna, and afternoon tea with fresh scones. The evening brought a lively decades-themed rock night filled with dancing and laughter. Monday’s trip to  Lyme Regis  offered a classic seaside experience. The group strolled along the seafront, enjoyed lunch with a sea view, visited the aquarium, and indulged in ice cream and shopping - including fudge, gifts, and nostalgic sweets.   Yorkshire Dales, TV Soap Country  The week blended iconic TV locations with scenic outings and shared experiences. A standout highlight was the visit to the Emmerdale village set at Harewood House, where walking along the familiar streets, seeing The Woolpack, and hearing behind-the-scenes stories from your guide made it feel like stepping straight into the programme. The day was rounded off with time exploring the beautiful estate grounds and plenty of photos and laughter. Another memorable excursion took you to Goathland, known as Aidensfield in  Heartbeat  and as Hogsmeade Station in  Harry Potter . From the nostalgic railway station to Scripps Garage and its classic vehicles, the village offered a real sense of stepping back in time. The day continued in Whitby, where dramatic coastal views, the bustling harbour, and a close-up look at freshly caught crabs added a lively seaside contrast.  Chester Zoo & Blue Planet Aquarium  Our  first full day took you to Delamere Forest , where sunny weather made the Gruffalo Trail especially enjoyable, spotting characters along the woodland paths. The afternoon brought lively competition with a boys vs girls bowling match, full of laughter and surprises—especially Debbie’s standout performance—before a well-earned dinner and anticipation for the days ahead. Monday’s highlight  was a full day at  Chester Zoo , packed with memorable encounters. From elephants and endangered rhinos to giraffes, flamingos, and lions, every corner brought something new. Standout moments included the immersive cricket jungle experience, the butterfly house, penguin talk, and seeing a snow leopard and rare tree kangaroo.  On  Tuesday , the group headed to Liverpool to explore  The Beatles Story Museum , an immersive journey through the band’s rise to fame, complete with recreated scenes and fascinating memorabilia....
